Injuries have been an integral part of the Canadiens over the past two years. The positive thing this year is that the first line remains intact, with Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Juraj Slafkovsky staying healthy.

They are essentially responsible for the majority of the team’s goals. Without them, it would be very challenging. They must avoid injuries, or else the Canadiens will struggle to score goals.

A concerning piece of news was announced this morning as Suzuki and Caufield were not present at practice.

“Forwards Cole Caufield and Nick Suzuki are not participating in today’s practice (therapy day).” – Montreal Canadiens

There is no need to panic. For now, there is concern, but both players should be in uniform. However, it must be admitted that it is not reassuring to know that they are not at 100%.
