While Martin St-Louis is an excellent communicator, there are rumors that it might not be so easy with Arber Xhekaj.

The HFTV guys raised a point that, according to them, is quite concerning. It comes from the latest press conference by St-Louis.

“As someone who has listened to MSL’s pressers for the last 2 years, I don’t think I’ve heard him almost have to force out something positive to say about one of his own players. Something’s not right with Xhekaj-MSL…” – HFTV

There might be some tensions. The message doesn’t seem to always get through as Xhekaj repeats the same mistakes. However, the coach assures that the sheriff has the right attitude, but is it enough?

It must be admitted that the relationship between the two doesn’t always seem super smooth. But St-Louis has spoken highly of the defenseman in the past, and I don’t believe it’s a source of major concern.
