Change of situation regarding Jonathan Drouin and the Canadiens

While everyone agreed that Jonathan Drouin had played his last game in the Canadiens uniform, Kent Hughes hinted at the possibility of seeing the Quebecer with the Canadiens next season.
Indeed, during his press conference held in Nashville yesterday, the CH’s General Manager affirmed that no final decision had been made in the case of the 28-year-old forward.
Wow! We did not expect that at all!
Unfortunately, Drouin has never been able to meet the expectations placed on him since his arrival with the Montreal team, having suffered numerous injuries that have greatly affected his development.
In 321 games with the Canadiens, the Sainte-Agathe-born forward has only amassed 48 goals and 138 assists (186 points), being unable to reach the 30-point plateau in his last four seasons with the team.
In your opinion, should Kent Hughes offer a new contract to the Quebec forward?
