A ridiculous trade rumor involving Shane Wright has recently been reported

It’s not just in Montreal where ridiculous trade proposals are circulating, as we have recently learned of a good one coming from Boston.
Joe Haggerty, who covers the activities of the Boston Bruins, recently shared this:
“Would a Shane Wright to the Boston Bruins trade scenario interest B’s fans if it meant moving Jeremy Swayman to Seattle to make it happen? Exploring a trade from the B’s goalie duo continues to be a fertile ground for scenarios.”
At the outset, it seems completely absurd to see Seattle get rid of a young player as talented as Wright, barely a year after his selection at fourth overall. Trading away a promising 19-year-old player that hasn’t even played a full season in the NHL yet would be a mistake.
In addition, Seattle already has Philipp Grubauer in net for another four seasons, so there is no immediate need to acquire a goaltender to take over the starting role. It must be said that if they were to trade away such an up-and-coming player like Wright for a goalie, then that goalie would have to be an established star who can already act as an undisputed starter.
It is understandable that the Bruins are interested in adding a promising center player, but there is no benefit for Seattle if they include Wright in exchange for Swayman, even if they also receive a draft pick with the goaltender.
