The verdict has come down regarding Denis Gurianov and the Montreal Canadiens

Even though the Montreal Canadiens had not made a qualifying offer to Denis Gurianov, General Manager Kent Hughes had admitted he would be interested in bringing him back to Montreal next season if the forward was willing to accept a less lucrative contract.
However, it seems likely that the Canadiens’ management wasn’t really keen on keeping him, as the Russian has just agreed to a significant salary cut by signing a one-season contract valued at $850,000 with the Nashville Predators.
