Now that the Montreal Canadiens have been on vacation for several weeks already, it is becoming increasingly difficult to get updates on our Habs, especially regarding all those who were injured during the season.

However, thanks to a recent interview of Stu Cowan with Arber Xhekaj’s mother, we were able to get news about the health of the CH’s defenseman.

Given that a shoulder injury like the one he suffered is a type of injury that can become quite complex to heal, many fans were eager to get an update on number 72.

Well, his mother, Simona, revealed that Arber’s rehabilitation is going very well and that he is even ahead in this process.

“It’s fantastic,” said Simona when asked about Arber’s rehabilitation news. “He’s doing extremely well. He’s ahead of schedule.”

Let’s remember that Wifi suffered a shoulder injury following his fight against Vincent Desharnais of the Edmonton Oilers on February 12th. He then had to undergo surgery, which ended his season.

He should therefore be in top shape for the Canadiens’ next training camp.
