An old-fashioned hockey brawl erupted early in the second period of Saturday’s game between the Syracuse Crunch and the St. John’s IceCaps. It all started after a big hit by Crunch defenseman Dmitry Korobov on IceCaps forward Jason Jaffray. Before long all five skaters were paired off.

It was the IceCaps’ Eddie Pasquale and the Crunch’s Dustin Tokarski squaring off. Tokarski got the better of the tussle, with Pasquale receiving 27 minutes in penalties.

Syracuse went on to win the game 6-3. Former Habs prospect J.T. Wyman had a goal for the Crunch.
